I was blessed to be able to sit under the teaching of Alan Hirsch just this past Saturday at a Journey Church gathering in New Orleans. If you have not read his book “The Forgotten Ways”, I would recommend that you do. Alan’s message seems to be very prophetic for our day and time. I believe that he is being used by God and is having great impact on our missional leaders.  

We have been blessed over the last two years to have an awesome couple serving with us as we serve the city.  Larry and Krista have been apart of the Baton Rouge Ministry Center basically from the very beginning.  Larry has served as our community development director and Krista has overseen our counseling ministry. They are now headed to Mongolia to share the love of Christ with many who are lost and suffering spiritually as well as physically.  Please visit their website to get more information about this amazing young couple and consider how God may lead you to support them.
