Vision and Mission

An Evangelistic Vision

Our goal is to do whatever it takes to give everyone living and/or working in East Baton Rouge Parish, the surrounding areas and beyond the opportunity to know Jesus Christ personally.

A Mission to Disciple, Develop and Deploy

A Network of Bible Studies and Churches

In keeping with this understanding, we are starting and sustaining Bible studies and congregations throughout East Baton Rouge and the surrounding area. Currently we have Bible studies in 2 locations. We also gather on Suday afternoons at 1:30pm in the Foster Road Baptist Church gym.

A Network of Bridges into the City

To meet the great variety of needs in our community, we seek to be a networked group of individuals, families, civic and governmental organizations, schools, businesses, churches and social agencies working together to make a difference in East Baton Rouge Parish.

A Center for Community Ministry

We discovered quickly that authentic faith meant we were going to have to do more than tell people about Jesus, and then wish them well. It also meant that we would have to care consistently and not merely seasonally or in a “hit and miss” fashion.

The multiple ministries here at the Center touch the physical needs of people from all walks of life. Through these ministries, genuine relationships develop which become an encouragement to Christians or a path for people to receive the best gift we have to offer—a relationship with Jesus Christ.

A Base for Missionary Training

From 2005, 300-400 people participated with us in our ministries. In addition, we have one missionary family that once worked with us currently serving in Mongolia.
